Consider this...?

Obama is winning in large part due to the success he has had in the caucus states. While Clinton may not have won those states if primaries were held, the delegate distribution would have been different. The race would be much tighter in popular vote and in delegates. Furthermore, the general election consists of only primaries- there are no caucuses. Does this hurt Obama's cause? Should this be factored in when Superdelegates pick the candidate to run against McCain? Can the Democrats have a more convuluted system in place to determine a nomination?
