Name/guess this diagnosis (Rt lower abd pain and lowgrade temp)?

Right lower belly pain from below the navel down toward pelvic bone for past two weeks. 48 hours ago pain got worse and then during the night it got worse and remained constant with episodes of sharp pain coming and going. I saw dr. to rule out ovarian cysts and he said while he didn't feel one he thought appendix and said not to eat anything else and if I was drinking make sure it was a clear liquid and had me go for a CT scan with and without contrast. Got CT scan 2 hrs. after drinking contrast. I've also had nausea past two days and lost five pounds in the last week and have loss of appetite. Was told by staff to go home for results and it wasn't appendicitis. Dr. called back saying there is a cyst on the left ovary but nothing was found on the right. He thought it could be bowel spasms and told me to follow up with gastroenterologist. I've been hot and cold the last few days but no fever. Just got temp taken today and was 99.8. . No flu like symptoms no cough, nothing like a cold or respiratory infection coming on. What could this diagnosis be and what could be causing the fever. Also I finished Cipro a week ago and symptoms seemed to start after starting the Cipro.
