How could anybody like the band kiss?

first of all their songs.......gross and sick. they dress like devil worshipers, and what's was with the makeup? r they trying to cover up their uglyness? i think the only reason they were popular is b/c they shocked me at their concerts, which i guess means they have good stages acts, but thats about it.
