Is it ovulation or pregnancy?

I recently had horrible abdominal pains and was diagnosed as having one ovarian cyst on my left ovary. The doctor said she saw lots of follicles in my left ovary and use protection the next couple of days if I don't want to get pregnant. Well the next couple of days; Friday-Monday no protection used with the exception of Sunday and Monday (pull out) I know not real protection. I usually can tell when I'm ovulating or real close because I'm super frisky and I felt that way Monday. Wednesday started having mild cramping, some pain on both pelvic sides. Also very hot and nauseous. The cramping stopped Friday, but occasional pain in lower pelvic, first one side then the other and back pain. I thought possible fertilized egg on it's way to implantation, but took an ovulation test just as a way to early test for pregnancy(if it says ovulating can't be pregnant right?) well ovulation test was negative so it's a waiting game for pregnancy test, period not due until the 18th. �Well I took a pregnancy test today(too soon I know) was negative, took an ovulation test very very faint line which means not ovulating but Friday there was no line...I'm confused...could this mean I could soon be ovulating or ovulated Saturday? or maybe pregnancy as I've read ovulation test sometimes show faint lines for pregnancy...very confused and trying not to stress...didn't realize how much I wanted to be pregnant:/
