Should I ask for a partial refund since they broke my gles and have to delay my pick up date by 2 weeks?
I ordered a pair of gles through JC Penney's optometry department at Laguna Hills mall a couple weeks ago. It was scheduled to be ready for pick up later this week, but I just received a call from them earlier today that they had broken the lens so now they will have to reorder them and this will take an extra 2 weeks. They didn't even offer to give me a partial refund. I paid $190 for those gles because I NEED them and use them on a daily basis, and I was expecting to get it within the stated time of 2 weeks. And now they're going to make me wait an extra two weeks to pick them up, which would make the total wait time to be a month. Should I demand them for a partial refund? Do you think they will actually give one to me?
