What do I do with my life?

About 30% of my conversation with my parents is what i plan 2 do with my life. My future career mainly. I like creative things. Im more of a english and history kind of guy. You know what i mean. That sort of stuff. As my parents are understanding of my pions they are worried about the level of pay and lack of things to do in these types of fields. They both live successful lives, which they also want me 2 have. Which is understandable but not helping me make a good choice. Putting aside my parents lackk of support how do I find something that suits my pions but is also a strong career choice? Im a lower clmen in high school but I'd like to start brainstorming where I should go with my life. Its a shrt life and I want to make the best of it.
